Our firm uses a science, engineering and technology [SET] based approach to design and build new net-zero structures as well as improve existing structures with Energy Conservation Measures and Renewable Energy Technologies. We offer our clients turn-key project services from concept through completion through our unique Owner’s Representative Services program – this unique process means our firm ensures that all of our client’s goals are completely satisfied. We oversee the entire concept and design phase of the project through a direct interface between the client and our in-house design team leader. Our extensive network of consultants, many with over 30 years of experience in their respective specialties, provide support to our in-house design team and ensure that complex projects are handled with the right expertise and insight to ensure total client satisfaction. A single individual leads the entire design process, and then continues with the project through the permitting and construction phase to provide a true turn-key design/build. This means that the same people who designed the home will also serve as seasoned construction managers, right through turn-over and move-in.

Solar Cooperative Program [SCP]

The Solar Cooperative Program allows Local Homeowners to achieve the lowest cost, highest quality Solar Photovoltaic installation through the power of mass buying.  Built on the concept of savings and safety in numbers, The Solar Cooperative Program offers its members the guaranteed lowest priced and highest quality installation backed by the expertise of a leading solar design and consulting firm.

The Solar Cooperative Program organizes groups of homeowners, like you, and uses our collective strength to go directly to manufacturers of solar equipment to negotiate the lowest prices, usually privileged only to large distributors.  We only use the highest quality solar modules, inverters and other equipment.  We do the same thing with the labor, negotiating the lowest prices with quality contractors we select to ensure a turn-key installation on your home.  The Cooperative secures the best engineering services so each system is designed to custom fit your home and needs using an expert design team.  Our Cooperative also oversees the complete project, from start to finish, ensuring that each installation meets the highest standards for quality and performance.            

To be eligible for membership in the Solar Cooperative Program, you must be the owner of a single-family dwelling on Long Island.  The Membership Process begins by completing a one-page questionnaire and then forwarding it to us via email.  We will then email you back the results in the form of an initial proposal.  When we have enough homeowners in your area we will be ready for our “mass-buy” of materials and installers for your Solar Photovoltaic System.  Spread the word to your friends, neighbors, and family about this awesome program so everyone saves by our collective bargaining power.

New Net-Zero and Near Net-Zero Homes Powered by Renewable Energy

Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation features are integrated into your new home from the ground up. Our firm specializes in high-HERS rating* homes (95 and above) with the intention of coming as close to net-zero as possible, meaning that the home produces all of the energy it consumes. Our firm has designed homes with HERS ratings in excess of 99 and can also design LEED rated structures. We design grid independent, luxury homes, with all the amenities a client desires. Each net-zero new home is capable of producing its own heating, cooling, hot water and electricity, so your long-term electricity, heating, cooling and hot water bills are zero dollars or as close to zero dollars as site and design conditions allow. Additionally, critical systems in net-zero or near net-zero homes can be made to function independently of the grid during extended power outages.
